• Lead the safe, efficient, and timely commissioning, trial runs, and acceptance testing of the GE Mark VIe control system for Combined Cycle Power Plants • Perform pre-checks, system energization, and network verification across devices and subsystems • Supervise and execute loop checks, functional tests, and protection testing with rigorous documentation and operational log standards • Manage system turnovers from installation through commissioning to final customer handover • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues • Review control logic against engineering design documents • Implement HMI screen modifications and alarm configurations • Implement and enforce EHS procedures, including risk assessments, safety walks, and subcontractor compliance monitoring • Ensure commissioning activities adhere to site safety standards and regulatory requirements • Deliver technical feedback and detailed site reports to engineering and project teams • Manage commissioning test equipment inventory, including inspection, usage tracking, and timely return • Contribute to lessons-learned initiatives and continuous improvement programs
• Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field • Willingness and ability to travel for long-term field assignments (up to 100%) across the United States and internationally • Deep intellectual curiosity with a genuine passion for energy, technology, and innovation • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a drive to continuously learn and grow • Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure field environments • Clear and confident communicator — able to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
