📋 Description

• Post payments from patients and third parties • Adjust patients’ accounts • Process incoming payments • Verify write-offs • Fax medical records to third parties as requested • Scan documents • Confirm refunds to patients and third parties • Identify payer issues • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experience of working in a large physician clinic • Proficient in working with Payer Vendor websites • Ability to work with multiple computer screens at once in a fast-paced environment • Self-starter capable of working independently at home • Patient, empathetic, reliable and flexible • Excellent documentation/reporting skills • Professionalism in all interactions • Adherence to CRMS policies • Understanding of all HIPPA regulations and strict adherence to them • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Payment Posting Specialist within a Hospital or Medical office setting • Ability to perform remote office work with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Ability to view monitors for prolonged periods
