📋 Description

• Support the Data and Analytics Director, data, digital, and field teams in implementing organizational and programmatic goals • Develop MOCHAs, update project management systems such as AirTable or Asana, and support staff in meeting project needs and deadlines • Scope timelines for major milestones and adjust workplans • Lead field strategy, data analysis, and coordination for direct voter contact programs • Provide data-driven recommendations on campaign field strategy and targeting • Build and maintain direct voter contact universes for field, mail, and digital programs • Create SQL queries and commit voter contact universe criteria to GitHub • Advise on voter communications based on program phase and tactics • Manage voter file access, resources, markers, training, and technical assistance • Lead the overhaul and maintenance of EveryAction data-management workflows • Champion data best practices through conferences, briefings, documentation, and knowledge sharing • Manage the JIRA ticketing system, including request types, assignments, timelines, and troubleshooting • Establish and maintain data-collection best practices with organizing teams • Facilitate reporting infrastructure development, dashboard feedback, code review, testing, and troubleshooting • Maintain documentation of technology and data products and processes in the shared drive • Provide data management support involving activist codes, survey structures, automations, and committee structures • Audit platforms annually for correct data-collection configuration • Support coalition alignment on voter-file resources, targeting, data, and tactics • Build relationships with state teams, troubleshoot voter-file issues, and advocate for organizer needs • Develop data collection and maintenance strategies for organizing programs and tools • Design an organizing journey across c3 and c4 programming while reducing manual maintenance • Support organizing-platform adoption and data-informed best practices • Participate in staff meetings, study sessions, retreats, strategy development, implementation, work planning, fundraising, and budget development • Assist with contract reviews, renewals, scopes of work, platform onboarding, and platform sunsetting • Complete work plans, reports, and professional development planning; perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced and innovative Data Manager • Ability to support organizing platforms and apply analytics best practices • Ability to use CRM and voter-file data across c3, c4, and PAC work • Experience or capability with project management systems such as AirTable or Asana • Ability to develop MOCHAs, timelines, milestones, and workplans • Ability to perform data analysis and coordinate direct voter contact strategy • Ability to build and maintain voter-contact universes for field, mail, and digital programs • SQL query development • GitHub proficiency for committing voter-contact universe criteria • Knowledge of voter-file management and access administration • Ability to provide end-user training and technical assistance • Experience with or ability to manage EveryAction workflows and database structures • Knowledge of data compliance requirements for multi-entity organizations • Ability to document data dictionaries, model release notes, and partner analyses • JIRA ticketing-system administration and technical troubleshooting • Ability to establish data-collection and data-maintenance best practices • Ability to develop and test reporting infrastructure and dashboards • Ability to review code and troubleshoot report functionality • Knowledge of activist codes, survey-question structures, automations, and committee structures • Ability to work with voter-file vendors and coalition partners • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed • Resume and cover letter required • Must be able to work in a bargaining-unit/union environment
