📋 Description

• Lead DoorDash’s Cyber Defense organization, including Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Insider Threat teams globally • Report directly to the Global Chief Security Officer • Align Cyber Defense strategy with DoorDash’s overall business objectives • Lead responses to information security incidents, including investigation, countermeasures, and recovery from cyber attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches • Coordinate with incident responders, cross-functional partners, and external law enforcement • Identify and investigate insider threats with Legal, Fraud, and HR stakeholders • Evaluate and implement advanced threat detection technologies and techniques • Collect and analyze threat intelligence to identify, assess, and mitigate major threats • Mature the engineering-first Cyber Defense program using scalable services, processes, and AI technologies • Define and deliver service level agreements and improve operational resilience • Mentor and train security engineers and managers

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of cyber defense experience • 10+ years of experience in a cloud-native environment • 10+ years of people management experience within a security organization • Experience leading global incident response and security operations teams at technology companies • Deep technical security expertise in cyber defense functional areas • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with IT, legal, compliance, human resources, and business units • Familiarity with cyber defense platforms, such as SIEM, and their implementation • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced and diverse environment
