📋 Description

• Interface with clients, design teams, and construction crews to coordinate and participate in commercial construction projects throughout the United States • Provide hands-on oversight of all phases of construction projects on site until completion • Directly manage all trade subcontractors and work with trades personnel in the field • Estimate costs and monitor aligned budget categories • Maintain project scheduling and ensure timelines are met • Ensure quality, safety, customer project goals, and profitability targets • Maintain records of project progress, deliverables, timesheets, and invoices • Forecast project costs and timelines to ensure project bids achieve expected profit margins • Read and comprehend blueprints, purchase orders, change orders, and submittals • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities as needed • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies, escalating to the Director of New Operations as needed • Provide regular project updates, manpower forecasts, and activity reports to the Director of New Operations • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Valid Driver's License • 2-3 year of experience in the construction field, preferably with carpentry • Ability to travel up to 80% annually including air travel • Desire to travel nationwide • Must be able to work schedules that include: day, evening, overnights, and weekends • A proven problem solver and team player • Hiring out of NY (office) or remotely out of FL, NC, TN, or KY • Associate degree in related field preferred • General knowledge of building code and ability to read blueprints • Working knowledge of project management software and use of Gantt Charts • Basic computer/typing skills and knowledge of MS Suites software such as Word, Excel and Outlook Office/Email • OSHA Certification preferred • 3 years of experience in the construction field preferred • Thrives in team environment, simultaneously self-sufficient
