📋 Description

• Support a federal agency in verifying compliance with FISMA, NIST, DISA STIG, FIPS, and NIPS • Implement, oversee, continuously monitor, and maintain security configurations, practices, and procedures for customer information systems • Lead security authorization processes and procedures • Recommend security best practices and system configuration standards • Manage cybersecurity posture and analysis, including vulnerability management, incident response support, and Risk Management Framework activities • Upload security control evidence to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) application • Write System Security Plans, POA&Ms, Risk Assessments, PIAs, and supporting documentation • Support FBI security Assessment & Authorization activities and achieve and maintain ATO • Conduct required information-system vulnerability scans • Coordinate system-owner concurrence for correction or mitigation actions • Monitor security controls to maintain authorization to operate • Create security A&A documentation for CODIS and maintain project system security procedures for the ISSM • Review system audit trails and report information-system security incidents • Ensure users have requisite clearances, authorization, and need-to-know before granting access • Manage information-security audits by federal departments/agencies and third-party auditors • Initiate protective and corrective measures when security incidents or vulnerabilities are discovered • Interface with government managers and contractors regarding security requirements • Participate in CCBs and advise on security impacts of proposed changes and software requirements • Support certification activities throughout the A&A process • Oversee system recovery processes and Continuity of Operations exercises • Assess emerging network-system and enterprise-level risks and vulnerabilities • Advise leadership on cybersecurity risk management, security strategy, project planning, and security architecture • Liaise with security organizations on the security status of configuration changes

🎯 Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements • Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related computer science technical degree • CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)² Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), (ISC)² CISSP, or higher certification • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines • Working knowledge of virtualization, software-defined infrastructure, and cloud computing technologies • Familiarity with Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, AppDetectivePro, HP WebInspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and/or similar applications
