📋 Description

• Lead and manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or enterprise-scale projects, new initiatives, and ongoing business deliverables • Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues affecting project deliverables • Collaborate with project team members, business owners, and sponsors to develop and implement projects and programs • Assess project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans • Oversee project resources, milestones, and successful implementation • Lead and coordinate matrix and/or cross-functional teams • Develop project plans and recommendations aligned with departmental and company objectives • Track and report project status and manage projects according to corporate priorities • Negotiate project resources, delegate work, and ensure quality deliverables • Coordinate policy, procedure, and compliance-measurement development • Monitor project effectiveness and ensure audit compliance • Represent BCBSNC with consultants, vendors, and other external parties • Analyze and develop business processes addressing quality, cost effectiveness, customer service timeliness, and regulatory requirements • Develop escalation processes, business process improvements, and communication plans • Perform analytics and coach others in analytical, technical, and related areas • Propose solutions using analysis tools such as cost/benefit analysis and flowcharting • Document and present project-management results through criteria, issue-analysis papers, and reports • Develop and track budgets, operating plans, and financial cost forecasts • Provide indirect reports with expectations, feedback, coaching, mentoring, and/or training

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) • 5+ years of experience in related field • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field • Healthcare industry experience is a bonus • Revenue, Medicare, risk adjustment, and quality/performance management knowledge is a bonus • Enterprise project/program management experience is a bonus • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills are a bonus • Proven experience leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives across multiple business areas is a bonus • Ability to influence, facilitate, and drive business outcomes without direct authority is a bonus
