📋 Description

• Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite safety policies and procedures • Promote company Core Values and safeguard a family-centric culture • Support the Project Manager managing data center construction, miscellaneous technical construction projects, and operations work • Assist in managing project costs, including budgets, forecasts, commitments, accruals, Work-In-Place, milestones, WBS, progress, risks, and KPIs • Utilize and maintain historical cost databases such as eBuilder through input of budgets, commitments, work in place, invoices, and forecasts • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc project status reports covering cost, schedule, risk, and manpower • Conduct accrual analysis and coordinate with payment processing teams to track vendor payment status • Review invoices for accuracy and trend analysis; monitor open POs, calculate expected cost impact, and initiate resolution actions • Work with the P6 Scheduler and Project Manager to track progress, warning signs, critical path, and cost-schedule alignment • Manage project change control and maintain baseline and current budgets to reflect approved changes • Coach, develop, and guide team members while encouraging Lean culture and emerging technology development • Drive continuous improvement and support Lean initiatives across the site in alignment with corporate strategic goals • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • BA/BS in construction management, finance, engineering or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years experience in construction and project planning for multi-project construction programs • Experience in construction specifications, construction drawings and other project documentation including RFIs, submittals, payment applications and change orders • Experience with Primavera P6, MS Excel, PowerPoint • Experience with cost control tooling such as eBuilder, Procore, or others • Experience communicating financial status and schedule details from multiple construction sites to project managers • Proficiency in problem solving and root cause analysis • Knowledge of structured cabling industry including technology, quality and safety standards • Ability to support the Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager in leading, developing and managing field employees • Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, clients and other departments • Strong communication and organizational skills, including excellent customer service skills • Ability to learn and support new and quickly evolving technologies • Ability to research information and identify solutions regarding technical issues • Ability to work within deadlines while maintaining high work quality, prioritize and multi-task • Effective oral and written communication skills • Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio; Primavera P6 preferred • Ability to travel as required, with minimal overnight travel generally expected at 5% • Ability to work in an indoors business office and construction environment • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Ability to regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet • Ability to operate scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if required • Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
