📋 Description

• Deliver GMV targets through strategic category plans, refined through learnings from new content and format trials • Own category P&L and drive category expansion on eBay Live • Develop seller acquisition, onboarding, and cultivation strategies for high-potential live sellers, brands, and creators • Create a playbook coaching sellers on assortment, show formats, on-camera performance, audience engagement, and analytics-driven growth • Develop engaging live events and innovative interactive shoppertainment formats • Establish editorial standards to improve content quality and viewer experience • Track category performance and analyze pilot programs and format trials to identify growth drivers • Define meaningful KPIs and scalable best practices for live commerce • Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to champion seller needs and drive platform success • Lead category-specific budgets and operational activities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years in Category Management • BA/BS required • A point of view on what eBay Live needs to do to win in this market • Excellent analytical skills, including extracting insights from data, creating and testing hypotheses, interpreting results, and combining qualitative and quantitative data • Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment with rapid iteration and extended hours if needed • Creativity to work around product gaps to grow the business • Broad functional experience leading teams with varied strengths across marketing, product, operations, customer insights, and seller/account management • Excellent decision-making skills and ability to prioritize high-impact opportunities with imperfect information • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including data-backed storytelling and leadership-ready recommendations • Interest and/or experience in the Motors segment is a plus
