📋 Description

• Conduct customer visits using tablet and mobile phone apps • Recommend unique programs and solutions to customers • Communicate total value to meet customer needs and grow sales within existing accounts • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on laundry and dish machines, dispensing equipment, and systems • Provide emergency service to existing customers by phone or in person • Assist with installation of equipment and solutions • Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure customer operations are functional • Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to control costs • Manage, service, and sell to established customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, and long-term care facilities • Travel to Blacksburg, Salem, and surrounding areas • Complete field-based training and attend two weeks of training at Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota • Participate in weekend rotation, generally 1 in 11 weekends based on business demand

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • 2 years of sales, mechanical service, customer service, food service, or hospitality industry-related experience • Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency assistance at night, on weekends, and over holidays • Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Ability to push/pull • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop • Ability to work in confined spaces • Ability to distinguish color, with tools potentially accommodated • Availability to work overtime • Ability to drive a company vehicle; pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks required • Associate’s degree or other advanced training or certifications preferred • Previous mechanical problem-solving experience, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience, preferred
