📋 Description

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous Biology instruction for five or more hours per day every scheduled instructional day • Create an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience • Personalize instruction using student performance data and identify learning gaps • Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work • Maintain accurate student records • Build relationships with students and families through proactive communication • Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality student support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field • Active state teaching license in Biology grades 6-12 • Preferred licensure in New Jersey, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and/or Ohio • Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings • Comfort with the demands of a live online classroom • Ability to teach live on camera for five or more consecutive hours per day every instructional day • Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software • Ability to interpret student performance data and use it to adjust instruction • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organization and self-direction • Time management skills to independently manage a full student caseload in a remote environment • Commitment to maintaining certification and staying current on K-12 curriculum, technology, and best practices • Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs
