• Handle assignments up to $1M unassisted from adjusting business for commercial and personal property lines, including liability and builders risk assignments • Manage daily and complex assignments with best-in-class service and expertise • Complete site visits, generate complex scopes of damages/repairs, perform high-value cost estimating, document sites, manage projects, and conduct high-stakes negotiations • Provide independent control of reconstruction job costs and time frames to insurers and property managers • Maintain accurate records using designated technology • Manage billings, billable hours, work in progress, and timely client reporting • Provide independent oversight of complex mitigation processes, including industry-standard drying practices, billing procedures, and daily site clerking • Partner with high-level property claims adjusters and clients • Complete and publish narrative and executive summary reports • Develop and maintain a client base • Perform other duties as assigned • Travel as required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Current IICRC Master certifications, WRT (Water Restoration), ASD (Applied Structural Drying), Smoke & Soot or equivalent certifications required • Eight (8) years of relevant experience, including five (5) years of experience in the Insurance Restoration Industry or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent negotiating skills • Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports • Must maintain valid driver’s license with clean driving history • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required • Ability to travel as required • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time • Must be able to kneel, squat or bend • Must be able to work outdoors in hot and/or cold weather conditions • Ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and reach/work overhead • Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds • Able to push/pull up to 100 pounds • Able to drive up to 4 hours per day • Must have continual use of manual dexterity
