📋 Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals tailored to students' specific needs and abilities • Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve motor skills, range of motion, and functional independence • Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions as appropriate • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational team members to integrate therapy goals into educational plans • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and promptly • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' physical therapy needs • Provide physical therapy services to PreK-12 students to improve mobility, strength, and physical function

🎯 Requirements

• Currently licensed in California, or eligible for state licensure • Licensed Physical Therapist / valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program • Experience providing physical therapy services in a pediatric or school setting • School-based experience required • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric physical therapy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Experience in teletherapy or online counseling preferred • Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology used in physical therapy preferred
