📋 Description

• Oversee and manage Clinical Programs operations • Manage patient caseloads • Provide resources and direction to Nurse Practitioners • Perform physical examinations, preventive health measures, and follow-up visits within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and healthcare needs • Discuss cases with physicians and formulate and document care plans • Prescribe medication or other forms of treatment • Review documentation for compliance with best practices, protocols, and quality measures • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate direct reports • Ensure effective and efficient treatment of patients while managing multiple Nurse Practitioners

🎯 Requirements

• MS in Nursing and minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Current unrestricted RN license required • Current NP license in the applicable state required • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test required for the Carelon Health business unit • Compact nursing license highly preferred • At least 3 years of management experience preferred • Excellence in data management • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and electronic medical records • Expert oral and written communication skills • Ability to work the stated EST shifts, Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call duties
