📋 Description

• Lead and manage the US commercial legal team • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, especially GTM/Sales transactions and enterprise customer contracts in North America • Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams on high-growth go-to-market strategies • Monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments involving data protection, technology, and AI • Apply legal and regulatory knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment • Manage US lawyers and contract managers across multiple time zones, segments, and verticals • Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies • Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams • Help scale the Legal Team’s commercial function and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. • Active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar; New York or California preferred • 8+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience • Previous team management experience required • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements • Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property • Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional and global colleagues • Proactive, business-minded approach focused on practical compliance and commercial solutions
