📋 Description

• Provide strategic insight and leadership into health outcomes evidence needs for Lilly’s oncology portfolio • Set real-world evidence, patient-reported outcome, and economic value strategy across the therapeutic area • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of HEOR scientists • Drive integration of HEOR from early clinical development through commercialization • Develop and oversee health outcomes research strategies for portfolio compounds • Serve as senior HEOR strategic partner on lead/core teams • Formulate and drive patient-focused outcome, real-world evidence, and economic value strategies for priority products and geographies • Establish consistent and agile HEOR standards across the oncology portfolio • Develop and execute high-impact research across the product lifecycle • Apply technical expertise in statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, patient-focused outcomes, observational/epidemiologic research, and value assessment • Address health outcomes issues related to registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access • Mentor junior scientists and colleagues in HEOR methodologies and best practices • Lead health outcomes evidence planning and implementation with cross-functional teams • Influence business partners on HEOR prioritization, trade-offs, and recommendations • Triage business partner requests and provide enterprise HEOR consultation • Allocate talent and resources across the oncology portfolio • Build an inclusive, high-accountability team culture • Communicate health outcomes information to internal partners, the scientific community, and customers • Lead dissemination through abstracts, posters, podium presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts • Drive application of research results and deliverables • Monitor disease-state, health outcomes, market, and methodological developments • Anticipate future market needs and plan HEOR capacity and strategy • Coordinate projects to meet timelines, budget, and scope with internal partners and external collaborators

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate (PhD, MD) with 7+ years of experience in creating, executing, and delivering HO strategies/projects OR PharmD/MS degree with 7+ years of experience in creating, executing, and delivering HO strategies/projects • Strong comprehension and communication skills, including ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information clearly and concisely • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams • Demonstrated experience setting and leading HEOR strategy across a portfolio or therapeutic area • Demonstrated people-leadership experience formally managing, developing, and leading scientists • Proven ability to influence senior internal and external decision-makers • Demonstrated ability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination • Ability to think and act globally with a customer focus and solution orientation • Knowledge of health economics, patient-reported outcomes, real-world evidence, access and reimbursement, statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, observational/epidemiologic research, and health technology or value assessment • 10–25% domestic and international travel
