📋 Description

• Drive sustained integration of HEOR from early clinical development through commercialization • Develop and oversee health outcomes research strategy for Lilly portfolio compounds in relevant therapeutic areas • Serve as a strategic partner on lead/core teams throughout development and commercialization • Formulate and drive Patient Focused Outcome, Real World Evidence, and/or economic value strategies for priority products and geographies • Develop high-impact science across the product lifecycle to support evidence needs and improve patient outcomes • Apply expertise in statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, patient-focused outcome development, observational/epidemiologic research, and health technology or value assessment • Apply disease-state knowledge and research methods to address registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access issues • Build strategic relationships with internal and external decision makers • Lead health outcomes evidence planning and implementation with cross-functional teams • Integrate with and influence business partners and external stakeholders • Communicate health outcomes information to internal partners, the scientific community, and customers • Drive dissemination strategies and lead abstracts, posters, podium presentations, promotional materials, and manuscript efforts • Align and drive application of results and deliverables to increase the impact of health outcomes work • Monitor developments in relevant disease states, health outcomes methodologies, market needs, and trends • Monitor and influence environmental factors affecting generation and use of health outcomes research • Ensure projects meet timelines, budget, and scope by coordinating with Lilly partners and external collaborators • Travel domestically and internationally as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate (PhD, MD) in an appropriate discipline such as economics, epidemiology, medicine, pharmacoeconomics, statistics, data science, or other relevant sciences • 5+ years of experience creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects using advanced methods and analytics • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Real World Data • High proficiency in statistical languages and software such as R, SAS, or Python • Experience managing, harmonizing, and analyzing large-scale electronic health and/or administrative medical and pharmacy claims data • Ability to translate research questions into program specifications • Authorized to work full-time in the United States; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas • Strong comprehension and communication skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams • Understanding of health care systems in at least one of: US, Europe, Asia • Understanding of and experience with health care delivery models and clinical research • Technical and analytic capabilities in one or more of: economic modeling, economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness evaluation, patient focused outcomes, real world evidence, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, or health care policy • Ability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination • Ability to think and act globally with a customer focus and solution orientation
