📋 Description

• Provide strategic insight and leadership into health outcomes evidence needs for Lilly’s portfolio • Use health outcomes discipline knowledge, therapeutic area knowledge, drug development and commercialization understanding, and geographic market knowledge • Own and execute research projects • Develop and articulate product value propositions, patient reported outcomes strategies, real world evidence generation, and differentiation strategies • Drive sustained integration of HEOR from early clinical development through commercialization • Develop and oversee health outcomes research strategy for compounds in Lilly’s portfolio • Serve as a strategic partner on lead/core teams throughout development and/or commercialization • Formulate and drive Patient Focused Outcome, Real World Evidence, and/or economic value strategies for priority products and geographies • Develop high-impact science across the product lifecycle to support evidence needs and improve patient outcomes • Apply technical expertise in statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, patient-focused outcomes, observational/epidemiologic research, and health technology or value assessment • Apply disease-state knowledge and research methods to address registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access issues • Build strategic relationships with internal and external decision makers • Lead health outcomes evidence planning and implementation with cross-functional teams • Influence business partners and external stakeholders to achieve goals and outcomes • Communicate health outcomes information to internal partners, the scientific community, and customers • Lead dissemination efforts including abstracts, posters, podium presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts • Drive application of results and deliverables to increase the impact of health outcomes work • Monitor developments in portfolio disease states, health outcomes methodologies, market needs, and environmental factors • Ensure projects meet timelines, budget, and scope by coordinating with cross-functional partners and external collaborators

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate (PhD, MD) with 3-5 years of experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects OR PharmD/MS degree with 3-5 years of experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomes strategies/projects • Strong comprehension and communication skills, including the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information clearly and concisely • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams • Understanding of health care systems in at least one of: US, Europe, Asia • Understanding of and experience with health care delivery models and clinical research • Technical and analytic capabilities in one or more of: economic modeling, economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness evaluation, patient focused outcomes, real world evidence, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, health care policy • Demonstrated ability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination • Ability to think and act globally with a customer focus and a solution orientation • Indianapolis-based preferred, remote upon consideration • Domestic and international travel may be necessary
