📋 Description

• Contribute to system- and component-level architecture design with engineers and architects • Own end-to-end technical execution of key initiatives from design through delivery • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies • Lead cross-team initiatives and influence platform-level decisions • Participate in code reviews and apply best practices in CI/CD, testing, observability, and DevOps • Partner with Product, UX, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams • Lead complex incident response and technical root cause analysis, including on-call participation • Mentor and support engineers • Contribute hands-on, production-ready code to critical components and complex problem areas • Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical health • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues • Support alignment between product priorities and technical execution • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. • 9–12 years of professional software development experience • Expert-level knowledge of software architecture and system design • Proven experience delivering large-scale, cloud-based systems • Proven experience writing test automation at every level to confirm application functionality and performance goals are met • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influence skills • Ability to drive change across complex technical environments • Ability to travel up <10% as business needs require • Sedentary: primarily desk/computer work • Must be legally authorized to work in United States • Elite does not provide employment sponsorship for this position • Applicants must be based across U.S. time zones; Elite cannot hire employees located in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, or Oklahoma • We are not accepting applications submitted through recruiting agencies
