📋 Description

• Deliver expert accounting and financial support to buy-side clients and enhance finance functions for acquired entities • Provide sell-side accounting and finance advisory services throughout transaction processes • Lead multiple finance transformation engagements and oversee accounting, FP&A, and/or technology workstreams • Provide interim finance leadership during buy-side post-close activities and sell-side preparation and diligence • Convert to accrual accounting, establish opening balance sheets, and prepare post-close purchase price adjustments • Expedite month-end close and prepare reporting packages • Build FP&A capabilities and prepare for first-year audits • Build internal finance teams and analyze technology opportunities, including BI and AI utilization • Develop strategic finance roadmaps and advise throughout sell-side or capital raise processes • Identify performance drivers, trends, improvement opportunities, and creative solutions • Own client relationships, engagement economics, resource management, and new client pursuits • Develop proposal and thought leadership content and maintain market visibility • Lead conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders • Collaborate with acquired-entity personnel and client teams • Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables • Oversee staff scheduling and budget management • Create a collaborative team environment and coach and develop team members

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of public accounting, operational finance leadership, and/or M&A experience • Ideally worked for or with private equity portfolio and other high-growth companies • Experience transforming a finance function into a strategic partner across the business • High-level comprehension of accounting principles and ability to communicate effectively • Experience implementing BI tools and identifying opportunities to utilize AI • Experience hiring, developing, and leading a finance team • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Effective time management skills • CPA Certification is a plus, but not required
