📋 Description

• Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical manuals, reports, procedures, guides, proposals, and instructional materials • Collaborate with engineers, technical professionals, and operational teams to gather and verify information • Research technical specifications, drawings, diagrams, schematics, and related documentation to ensure accuracy • Observe operational and production activities to document procedures, workflows, and best practices • Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, consistency, and usability • Organize content according to established standards for format, style, terminology, and quality • Create or coordinate visual content such as charts, diagrams, illustrations, and screenshots • Maintain document revisions, version control, and publication records • Edit and standardize materials prepared by other contributors • Support development of internal communications, training materials, and process documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 5+ years technical writing experience • Active Security Clearance required • Experience developing technical, operational, or procedural documentation • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences • Experience working with technical drawings, specifications, schematics, or engineering documentation • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, government, or technical operations environments • Familiarity with equipment operation, maintenance, or technical procedures • Experience developing training materials, user guides, or standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Position contingent upon contract award, Government acceptance of the proposed candidate, completion of required onboarding, and continued contract funding
