📋 Description

• Guide and execute the technical documentation strategy and roadmap • Align documentation priorities with user needs and organizational goals • Advance the Docs as Code approach through standards, tooling, contribution workflows, governance, and automation • Shape information architecture and content structure • Enable and coach teams to own and contribute documentation • Create and improve technical, product, and API documentation for internal and external consumers • Work with product and engineering teams on documentation priorities • Evolve AI-assisted documentation practices and support Agentic Product Development • Apply AI to improve knowledge capture, creation, quality, and maintenance • Drive measurable improvements in developer experience using data, research, and feedback • Build relationships across teams and influence leaders and builders without direct authority

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of technical writing or developer documentation experience • Experience shaping or scaling documentation practices in a modern software, SaaS, or developer-platform environment • Exceptional technical writing and information architecture skills • Portfolio or examples of relevant work demonstrating experience quality and breadth • Experience with Docs as Code and modern developer workflows • Git-based contribution and review experience • Experience with documentation platforms, automated quality checks, and publishing workflows • Experience with Vale or comparable documentation tooling • Experience creating API documentation • Familiarity with APIs, OpenAPI specifications, software development workflows, and modern developer tooling • Experience building scalable documentation practices, standards, governance, contribution models, and workflows • Hands-on experience applying AI to documentation or knowledge workflows • Understanding of authoritative knowledge for AI-assisted and agentic experiences • Strong collaboration and influence skills • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
