📋 Description

• Manage litigation of severely complex auto and casualty claims • Promptly investigates and evaluates complex claims • Sets and updates timely reserves in compliance with company standards • Negotiates claim settlements with plaintiff’s attorneys • Completes litigation matters in claims systems • Collaborates with defense counsel for evaluations and strategy • Attends trials and mediations, assisting with arbitrations and depositions • Prepares analysis and communicates coverage decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience • Ten years of casualty claims adjusting experience or related experience • Relevant insurance designations preferred • Superior knowledge of best claims practices • Advanced knowledge of insurance contracts and medical terminology • Excellent knowledge of negotiation and alternative resolution techniques • Ability to obtain all applicable state licenses • Exceptional organizational and empathetic interpersonal skills • Thorough written and verbal communication skills • Advanced customer service skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Thorough investigative and problem-solving abilities
