📋 Description

• Execute digital product strategy for assigned value streams and digital products • Partner with business owners to align product vision with business outcomes • Develop strategic capability roadmaps and support Product Owners in roadmap execution • Oversee product life cycles, total cost of ownership, and benefits realization • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned products and maintain high-level product roadmaps • Facilitate prioritization and resource-alignment discussions • Research insurance industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor activity • Manage portfolio financial value, product costs, capacity, and buy-versus-build decisions • Drive complex product development and guide business/customer-needs definition, requirements, and release planning • Serve as the voice of the customer and partner with customer experience teams • Evaluate and implement approved product ideas, proposals, initiatives, and requests • Coordinate Product Owners and product teams across deliverables and business/support areas • Establish and measure KPIs and/or OKRs, monitor outcomes, and take corrective action • Partner with Strategic Analytics and Business Process Management on process improvements • Lead corporate initiatives and large-scale programs affecting assigned products • Coordinate cross-functional IT program activities and steering committees • Build team culture, develop team members, conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and handle hiring and salary-adjustment recommendations • Resolve disciplinary issues and support succession planning and development plans • Coach and mentor Product Owners and provide feedback on product ownership capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience • Ten years of experience in product management or related experience • Applicable insurance business area experience in progressively responsible roles may substitute for some of the product management experience • Experience in a product and service-based delivery environment • Prior experience working with end users to develop customer-focused solutions • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) • Advanced certification in the field of product ownership/management preferred • Advanced understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile development techniques • Excellent knowledge of workflow management and roadmapping tools, such as JIRA, Aha, or ProductPlan • Advanced business knowledge in the appropriate field • Strong ability to align product strategy and roadmaps while collaborating to drive implementation • Ability to adapt technical specifications to meet end-user expectations and deliverables • Strong skills with the Atlassian stack (Jira), MS Teams, and/or similar collaboration tools • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, including the ability to coach upward • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Exceptional interpersonal and servant leadership skills • Ability to resolve conflict, motivate and influence team members, and communicate effectively • Ability to develop and manage multiple products with competing priorities • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
