📋 Description

• Plan and deliver projects by understanding scope, cost, and timeline • Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and changes • Establish product vision and backlog with clients • Assist clients in performing the Product Owner role • Gather and analyze requirements in depth • Document requirements as Features and User Stories • Create delivery plans with teams and clients to achieve project objectives and business value • Establish client technology roadmaps with technology teams • Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical feasibility • Explain technology topics to clients and build trust and confidence • Partner with delivery teams to execute established plans • Communicate technical and business requirements to delivery teams • Collaborate with senior delivery team members to solve complex challenges • Apply custom software development concepts and best practices • Communicate project status, risks, and changes transparently • Champion agile software development practices • Manage project delivery directly with clients • Adapt agile practices to clients' level of agile maturity and improve it over time • Maintain backlog health and proactively communicate deviations from expected value delivery • Act as a servant leader to the delivery team • Work with clients and teams on data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and modern data solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading requirements gathering and delivery efforts for data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence projects • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on complex data engineering projects • Experience delivering data engineering projects on modern cloud data platforms • Familiarity with data warehousing, medallion architecture, Power BI, master data management, and data governance • Experience crafting cost estimates for project components or entire projects • Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills • Experience liaising between agile development teams and users to define requirements, perform business analysis, and drive delivery • Experience utilizing AI tools in product development, product delivery, or project management • Understanding of websites, web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies at a high level • Strong technical background to provide credible leadership to development teams and evaluate complex project risks and issues • Experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach • Expert knowledge of Agile principles and software development life cycle models • Experience with agile work organization tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, or Rally • Proven track record implementing custom web application projects using Agile methodologies • Experience with traditional project management concepts • Experience with scope, schedule, budget, and risk management • Ability to accommodate occasional travel to client sites • Industry-recognized Agile certification preferred, such as PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, PAL, or SAFe • Industry-recognized project management certification preferred, such as PMP or equivalent • Microsoft Azure certifications preferred, such as AZ-900, DP-900, or AI-900 • Experience with .NET, SQL Server, Azure, React, Angular, or Vue.js preferred • Must clear a criminal background check before employment • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements are asked during application
