📋 Description

• Support higher education project directors and leadership teams • Solve problems and efficiently deliver results on key tasks and milestones • Produce insights on state policy innovation and implementation • Provide communications and analytical support to project leadership teams • Lead quantitative and qualitative client analysis through data analysis, interviews, surveys, focus groups, and desk research • Conduct policy analysis and design technical assistance on postsecondary education and workforce issues • Support responsible AI use across the project team • Produce data analysis, visualization, and insights with limited supervision • Organize in-state and cross-state convenings of policymakers and practitioners • Draft concept papers and proposals using AI to accelerate research and drafting • Support grant/award administration and reporting • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Proven expertise contributing to complex, multi-year strategic initiatives across sectors, and/or managing less-complex, shorter-term initiatives • Sophisticated collaborative skills and ability to navigate high-stakes partner dynamics • Operational understanding of political challenges in state and regional education and workforce solutions • Strong track record supporting multi-sector projects with high economic return goals • Knowledge of higher education, workforce development, and economic systems • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analytical skills • Ability to leverage emerging technologies such as AI • Minimum five years of professional experience in a state education agency, intermediary organization, postsecondary institution, school district, workforce or economic development agency, or national nonprofit organization • Master's degree in public policy, education policy, or related fields, or equivalent level of knowledge and experience • Ability to travel as needed, projected around 25%
