• Service existing client relationships within the Large/Mega/Not-For-Profit market • Develop, implement, manage and measure participant communications strategies for strategic clients • Combine financial services expertise, strategic communications, product knowledge and client management to improve retirement readiness • Ensure client satisfaction while managing client profitability with the service team • Deliver accurate and timely plan-activity communications and strategic action-based campaigns • Guide clients in improving financial education and participant wellness through existing tools • Review and recommend communication design and delivery strategies while managing a book of business • Oversee participant communication budgets, deliverables, quality control, timelines, metrics and planning • Present new concepts and campaign updates in client meetings, webcasts and phone meetings • Explain complex concepts and build consensus with client contacts • Engage the Retirement Education Team for employee meetings and presentations/webcasts • Complete creative briefs for complex initiatives and tactics • Execute client initiatives within assigned budgets • Coordinate workflows through deliverable completion • Manage a client book and travel up to 20% of the time • Manage projects to remain within timeline and budget • Manage clients to remain within annual budgets and address out-of-scope costs • Collaborate with service, communications/education, product, operations and marketing teams • Work with clients and advisors/consultants • Make decisions to ensure client satisfaction and escalate only the most complex issues
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, communications, finance or relevant field • FINRA fingerprinting required • Typically, a minimum five years of retirement industry experience • Knowledge of defined contribution, defined benefit, non-qualified plans and relevant regulatory compliance • Typically, a minimum five years of retirement communications experience • Experience with required and discretionary communication deliverables • Familiarity with variable data, personalization and multi-channel delivery approaches • Typically, a minimum five years of client management experience in corporate benefits, communications or marketing • Exceptional project management skills • Advisor/intermediary relationship experience and understanding of their role • Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to quickly learn other systems/software • Knowledge of style guides • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills • Ability to anticipate and overcome potential objections • Ability to adapt to a fluid work environment and seasonal workload spikes • Understanding of and adherence to communication budgets and client-related expense variables • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and an adequate home work environment for remote work • Physical ability to travel by air, automobile, train and other transportation methods
