📋 Description

• Deliver successful implementations of Empyrean's ALM, LST, FTP, Model IQ, Capital Stress Testing, and CECL solutions from project initiation through go-live • Translate client interest rate risk, liquidity risk, capital, credit loss, transfer pricing, and model governance objectives into sustainable implementation approaches • Configure balance sheet structures, cashflow assumptions, rate and capital stress scenarios, and CECL/ACL methodologies • Ensure client data is complete, reconciled, and reliable for modeling and reporting • Enable clients to produce and trust IRR, liquidity, capital, transfer pricing, and credit loss reporting • Support model development and governance workflows within Model IQ • Train clients to independently administer the solution and build their own reporting • Advise clients on best practices for data management, reporting, and balance sheet risk measurement • Liaise between client users and Empyrean's product management team, channeling client needs into product direction • Apply AI-assisted tools and repeatable processes to improve delivery efficiency and consistency • Safeguard sensitive customer data by following applicable policies and controls and using approved transmission channels

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline • 2–5 years of experience in banking, financial services, risk management, FP&A, or financial technology • Solid understanding of the banking industry, accounting, and financial statements • Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with large datasets • Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) • Experience with statistical or behavioral model development, such as regression-based NMD, prepayment, or PD/LGD modeling • Comfortable following and improving structured processes • Demonstrated AI literacy in a professional environment • Sound judgment about when and how to apply AI, including awareness of data-handling and confidentiality considerations • Working knowledge of asset/liability management (ALM), interest rate risk, Capital Stress Testing, and liquidity risk concepts, including liquidity stress testing (LST) • Working knowledge of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) • Familiarity with CECL/ALLL methodologies and allowance for credit loss calculations • Familiarity with model risk management, model validation, or model governance frameworks, such as Model IQ • Familiarity with regulatory capital planning and stress testing frameworks, such as CCAR/DFAST-style • Familiarity with fixed-income cashflow calculation and fixed income math • Experience implementing ALM, liquidity, Capital Stress Testing, or CECL solutions at a financial institution • Experience with financial data management, ETL tools, and Microsoft Power Query • Knowledge of SQL or other data-analysis tools • Prior consulting, implementation, or customer-success experience • Experience building or improving repeatable, AI-assisted workflows
