📋 Description

• Provide advice on Americas immigration strategy for employees, talent and other immigration matters for assigned TKO businesses • Prepare applications for employees and talent in the Americas region • Liaise with external counsel on strategy and application preparation • Manage and track visa milestones and petition timelines • Respond to requests for evidence or immigration appeals • Coordinate with international TKO offices regarding visa requirements • Work with the global mobility team on worldwide employee moves • Advise TKO businesses on immigration matters related to business opportunities • Advise on immigration aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures • Provide internal visa-processing status updates and communicate delays • Resolve visa-process concerns and escalate when necessary • Advise on right-to-work requirements, illegal-working prevention and I-9 compliance in the Americas • Create and implement immigration compliance processes and policies • Manage legal audits and maintain inspection documentation, including public access files • Maintain immigration case information on the INS ZOOM platform • Develop, implement and conduct training on immigration policies and programs • Conduct legal research • Lead and oversee immigration specialists, case managers and paralegals for assigned TKO businesses • Perform legal group administrative tasks, including maintaining schedules and databases • Provide ad hoc support to the VP/Head of Immigration • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• US qualified lawyer who has worked in a commercial environment • Strong knowledge of US immigration law and work authorization issues • Working knowledge of immigration laws and work authorization issues for the Americas • 7-10 years of experience in immigration matters • Previous experience in media, sport and entertainment immigration matters preferable • Previous experience of global immigration matters preferable • Meticulous attention to detail • Ability to prioritize a varied and heavy workload and plan ahead • Ability to work to deadlines with efficiency and accuracy • Clear and concise communication with internal and external clients at all levels • Ability to take responsibility and show initiative • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Outstanding negotiation, drafting, analytical, and organizational skills • Ability to manage global compliance specialists, case managers and paralegals • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
