📋 Description

• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation • Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare corresponding reconciliations • Respond promptly to requests and inquiries • Retrieve, process, and analyze data from various sources • Maintain supporting accounting schedules • Collaborate with team members across the company • Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable internal controls • Perform other duties as assigned • Participate in the company’s financial close and month-end close processes

🎯 Requirements

• Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ability to apply them to specific situations • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members • Good verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize among multiple tasks and objectives • High integrity, especially when maintaining confidential information • Ability to adapt job performance according to manager feedback • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required • No prior experience required • 0–2 years of public accounting or industry experience preferred • CPA preferred • Must satisfy employment eligibility requirements; Envision Healthcare uses E-Verify for newly hired employees
