📋 Description

• Reconcile GSE Custodial P&I and T&I accounts • Prepare general ledger and bank account reconciliations, including balancing, researching, and resolving reconciling items • Research, resolve, and clear GSE exceptions, including hard and soft reject findings • Monitor compliance with investor reporting, accounting standards, generally accepted accounting principles, and company procedures • Facilitate audit requests by gathering, validating, and providing documentation for GSE and other investor internal and external audits • Monitor P&I Custodial accounts to ensure accurate processing of monthly advances, recoupments, and investor remittance • Report payoffs, loan modifications, and corrections to GSEs accurately and timely • Cross-train across accounting functions • Identify ways to improve the quality and efficiency of accounting functions • Collaborate with team members and other organizational stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• At least three (3) years of experience in investor accounting • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience • Strong organizational skills to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and deadline-driven environment • Excellent communication skills • Professional verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
