• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth setting • Implement FBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time for administrative tasks • Participate in initial and ongoing trainings • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers • Use between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR • Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings • Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain additional state licensure as requested by Equip • Complete other duties as assigned • Deliver care Monday-Friday within 8am-8pm in the therapist’s respective patient care time zone • Work until 8pm two evenings per week, with flexibility to start later on those days • Attend mandatory supervision, huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision meetings
• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Texas • Ability to support patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds and cultures, and varying degrees of acuity • Passion for evidence-based care and treatment • Ability to provide care two evenings per week until 8pm in the patient caseload’s primary time zone • Ability to work 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm throughout the week, or after 3pm in the Mountain Standard Time Zone • Ability to attend mandatory meetings, including group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment • Required graduate program completion in a mental health counseling/therapy program, as reflected in the application’s required degree and licensure information • Required successful completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree from a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or an equivalent accrediting body • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be willing and able to provide care exclusively in a virtual/telehealth environment • Reliable internet and a private workspace required • Preferred: experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment • Preferred: experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings • Preferred: experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma • Preferred: case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team • Preferred treatment approaches include FBT, CBT-E, CBT-AR, CBT, DBT, ACT, FST, MI, trauma-informed care, ERP, and psychodynamic therapy
