📋 Description

• Develop and execute multiple large, complex low- and medium-voltage power distribution projects simultaneously • Perform project deliverables independently while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints • Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, develop new designs, and execute retrofit projects • Perform load studies and use power quality meters to evaluate and improve system performance • Serve as a subject matter expert in S&C, G&W, Eaton, and other electrical distribution gear manufacturers • Coordinate electrical engineering and design according to IEEE, NFPA, and customer standards • Deliver high-level technical expertise in bids • Provide quality assessments of overall work performed • Guide and train less-experienced personnel through mentoring and project leadership • Help develop and execute strategies to retain and improve business with key clients • Collaborate across ESCO Group business units to integrate power, controls, and automation solutions • Maintain professional client relationships • Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO standards and best practices • Follow ESCO and client safety, conduct, and policy requirements • Accommodate up to 25% overnight travel for services at out-of-town client facilities • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college, technical school, or university and ten years or more of related work or industry experience, or equivalent education and/or experience with solid evidence of success • Understanding of complex electrical principles and solutions • High proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook • Proficiency in power distribution and design • Proficiency in protective relay programming • Proficiency in communication networks • Experience using AutoCAD software • Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer preferred • Self-starter with initiative and resourcefulness • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple project assignments quickly and efficiently • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to adapt behavior to changing circumstances • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills • Ability to provide effective coaching and feedback • Ability to communicate and train others in areas of expertise • Ability to travel up to 25% overnight to out-of-town client facilities • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds • Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders and walk long distances while carrying equipment • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, electrical shock hazards, vibration, wet or humid conditions, heights, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, extreme cold and heat, and very loud areas
