📋 Description

• Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and submitted on time • Complete project setup and maintenance in Unanet, reflecting project changes • Assist with contracts, modifications, and purchase orders • Coordinate and review travel and expense reports for compliance and accuracy • Respond to internal inquiries related to charge codes and timesheets • Maintain and manage program budgets for federal government contracts • Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, forecasts, and estimates at completion (EACs) • Analyze program financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and contract requirements • Monitor indirect rates, labor utilization, and project profitability • Update projects for contract modifications and funding changes • Track contract funding, expenditure, and revenue recognition • Communicate project financial status to internal and external stakeholders • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses • Prepare financial data and maintain documentation for customer reviews, audits, and contract closeouts • Handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field • 2+ years of accounting experience • Working knowledge of accounting and finance principles, policies, and standards • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and SharePoint • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders • Experience with Unanet (ERP/timekeeping system) (desired) • Experience in the federal or government contracting industry (desired) • Familiarity with project-based accounting or cost-plus contract structures (desired) • Ability to work within the Eastern time zone, with expected hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern
