📋 Description

• Implement low-complexity tools and processes • Provide proactive support and maintenance of clinical information systems • Scope, plan, and deliver customer requests, including break-fix issues and projects • Lead and coordinate low-complexity projects • Implement and document consistent system builds using best practices • Support the Beaker application of the Epic EHR system • Serve as the IT contact and resource for assigned user departments • Determine operational departments’ information needs and present potential solutions • Implement low-complexity system changes according to change-management policies and procedures • Assist with ongoing support, problem diagnosis, and resolution for assigned clinical information systems • Coordinate problem resolution with users, IT personnel, and vendors • Test system changes before production and monitor results • Maintain rapport with users and other personnel • Evaluate existing systems using analytical skills • Assist with user training, documentation, policies, and procedures • Develop training materials and conduct training classes and one-on-one training • Write clear, concise, grammatically correct documents and reports • Maintain end-user system security and ensure appropriate system access • Ensure access and termination requests meet required timelines • Conduct regular audits of end-user access • Report security breaches to appropriate IT management

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum education: High School Diploma • Minimum work experience: Three years’ experience in Information Technology, clinical operations, or related field • Degree may be used to substitute years of work experience • License/Certification Required: No • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Service oriented • Able to work independently, think critically, and problem solve • Proactive and able to make routine decisions independently • Above average problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications • Light lifting, pushing, and pulling of 1–20 lbs occasionally • Frequent moving of objects less than 10 lbs • Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending, and reaching • Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required
