📋 Description

• Lead high-impact drug discovery programs from target validation through candidate selection • Translate cutting-edge science into clinical-ready compounds • Lead DiscoveryOne® integrated drug discovery projects across Oncology, Inflammation, Neuroscience, Metabolism, and Infectious Diseases • Build and lead cross-functional project teams involving Eurofins Discovery scientists and client partners • Design, plan, and execute end-to-end discovery strategies • Consult with clients and Business Development on requirements and integrated drug discovery proposals • Design screening cascades and workflows as required • Drive project activities across relevant sites to ensure timely data delivery, milestones, and productive client relationships • Interpret data, support swift decision-making, identify risks, and develop solutions • Serve as key project contact through meetings, updates, timelines, data delivery, change requests, and financial/commercial matters • Maintain project-management documents, SharePoint trackers, and Gantt charts • Develop resourcing and budget plans • Communicate project status and issues to management and stakeholders • Interact with clients, industry peers, and suppliers, including customer and client visits • Facilitate post-project evaluations, share lessons learned, and participate in continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Expert user of online project and data-management tools, including SharePoint • Background in Medicinal Chemistry, Biology, or DMPK • More than 10 years in the industry with broad drug discovery expertise across therapeutic areas, project phases, target classes, and gene families • Track record of leading teams and delivering multiple clinical candidates • Higher degree (MSc or PhD) or equivalent in biological sciences or a relevant subject • At least 10 years of drug discovery project leadership experience in industry • Therapeutic-area expertise such as oncology, CNS, metabolism, or immuno-oncology • Strong project planning, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills • Excellent organization, oral and written communication, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and timely deliverables • Ability to inspire teamwork, motivate staff, and work in a matrix team • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude • Residence in CST or EST time zones • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and comply with company policies • Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, PowerPoint, project-management software, Microsoft Project, and AI tools • Ability to travel 10% of the time
