📋 Description

• Provide strategic input for clinically relevant educational content and effective use of clinical data • Independently develop scientific content, including analysis and interpretation of clinical data • Conduct literature searches and monitor and analyze the competitive landscape • Build client relationships and contribute to client meetings • Partner with internal teams to create symposia decks, scientific narratives, messaging platforms and engagement projects for healthcare professionals • Collaborate with copy, art and digital teams on interactive programs using scientific storytelling and data visualization • Communicate Intouch’s point of view and recommendations to clients • Educate team members on disease states, clinical trials, treatments and competition • Support client medical/regulatory approval submissions and incorporate feedback • Oversee the department and supervise department staff • Interview, select and manage staff; communicate company policies and procedures • Set job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review employee performance • Authorize and communicate personnel actions including salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline and discharge • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD or PharmD) in medical sciences related field required • Preferably two or more years of agency experience in medical education, medical communications and/or HCP marketing • Two years minimum medical writing experience required • Strategic thinking and ability to tell a scientific story compellingly • Expertise extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills • Client-facing confidence • Experience with complex projects involving internal and external teams, including key opinion leaders • Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA editorial style and digital • Oncology experience preferred
