📋 Description

• Provide dedicated, personalized patient and doctor support by phone and online portal • Investigate insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs • Assist with payments, reimbursements, denials, appeals, prior authorizations, and medical necessity processes • Make outbound calls to obtain additional customer information • Search for alternate reimbursement resources, including state and federal assistance programs • Assist qualified patients with enrollment • Respond to customer, sales representative, and business partner inquiries • Enter orders and change orders, track shipments, and maintain customer notes, logs, and records • Process patient assistance applications according to program business rules • Act as the primary contact for healthcare providers obtaining patient enrollment and insurance information • Follow company and client policies and procedures • Complete other assigned tasks and projects

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma and 4 years’ experience or Associate’s Degree and 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to multitask • Positive attitude • Accurate and detail-oriented • Ability to work independently and as a team player • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment while remaining patient-minded • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Customer service and/or call center experience preferred • Patient assistance, reimbursement, and/or pharmacy benefit management experience preferred • Medical billing and coding experience preferred • Open availability from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST based on program and business needs • Weekend availability, including shifts on Saturdays and Sundays • Excellent attendance
