📋 Description

• Develop and use analytic tools to solve complex business challenges and support organizational and patient-health decision-making • Support development and underwriting of capitated risk proposals, including cost and utilization projections, trend selection/development, and estimating Evolent’s ability to reduce cost and improve quality • Support design of equitable financial arrangements for Evolent and its partners • Develop models and approaches to quantify and articulate Evolent’s value • Research and analyze complex healthcare claims, eligibility, and pharmacy data • Draw actionable conclusions and communicate findings to internal and external audiences • Translate analyses into customer-ready deliverables using visualization tools • Lead and facilitate customer interactions • Process and validate raw unadjudicated claims data • Explore, examine, and interpret large data volumes using programming skills with minimal assistance and oversight • Support Medical Cost Management, Business Development, and new product efforts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a quantitative major or healthcare focus • 1-3 years of professional experience in claims-based healthcare analytics • Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and translate between business and analytical needs • Exceptionally strong analytical abilities and demonstrated ability to identify and communicate insights from quantitative and qualitative data • Advanced or higher proficiency in SQL or SAS and Microsoft Excel • Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar • Experience in data mining, advanced/statistical analysis, and data manipulation • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement methodologies and calculations, including DRGs, Revenue Codes, CPT Codes, RVUs, and bundled payments • Master’s degree with a quantitative focus preferred • Working knowledge of healthcare claims, including institutional versus professional billing and sites of care/service preferred • Familiarity with value-based care and utilization management preferred • Understanding of data systems and ability to adapt to changes in data architecture • High-speed internet over 10 Mbps at home • Ability to complete identity verification, comprehensive background check, in-person I-9 verification, and potentially drug screening prior to employment
