📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Answer high-volume inbound calls from current patients and resolve questions • Place outbound calls to create, maintain, or update medication profiles • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Work through case queues to problem-solve patient care issues • Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patients’ behalf • Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Collect patient balances when amounts are due • Maintain patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers using drug knowledge • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Enter and process high volumes of prescription data accurately • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients and establish a trusted point of contact • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients successfully • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values in communications and interactions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma / GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription processes, clarifications, and transfers • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality • Ability to overcome objections • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Must be eligible to work in this country
