📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of data and process prescription information accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers using drug knowledge • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Resolve patient-care issues from current case queues • Liaise between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update patient medication profiles • Provide backup support during periods of high patient call volume • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) • Current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to work in an office-based or remote setting, sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to use computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills over the phone • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription intake, clarifications, and transfers • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Must be eligible to work in this country
