📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of data and process prescription information accurately • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers using drug knowledge • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Work through case queues to resolve patient care issues • Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update medication profiles • Provide backup support during high patient call volumes • Answer patient questions by phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to work in a phone-based environment • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs for medication authorizations, clarifications, and transfers • Exceptional customer service skills serving doctors’ offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of processes for prescriptions, clarifications, and transfers • Strong written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Ability to perform work requiring sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
