📋 Description

• Lead the data strategy agenda for business units and enhance strategic decision-making through data assets • Partner with business leaders to use data to drive revenue generation and cost savings • Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management • Manage product management, data methodologies, data processing, quality control, and internal and external data-asset customers • Manage development and deployment team members and Reporting Analysts in delivering value-added solutions and implementing best practices • Serve as the primary technical representative for assigned business units • Work with corporate and client IT teams to resolve security, IT initiative, AWS infrastructure, SQL database, server, and application vulnerability issues • Function as Product Owner and liaise with corporate data and development teams • Provide data expertise across programs and projects • Develop and maintain the data roadmap, prioritize data work, and manage data programs • Support strategic initiatives where data management is critical • Lead monitoring, measurement, and compliance with data governance, data quality, and data sourcing policies • Collaborate with business leaders to develop, implement, and champion evolving data capabilities • Drive data-driven approaches and expand the use of data insights in decision-making • Foster adoption of common data management terminology, language, and perspectives • Travel for organization or department events, meetings, trade shows, conferences, and client engagements as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a similar technical field of study, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required • 10+ years of prior healthcare and/or PBM industry experience required • 10+ years of management experience • 10+ years of experience with Data Warehouse methodologies and SQL database development • Experience with the full Microsoft SQL Server toolset (SSIS, SSRS, SSMS, SSAS, RDBMS) • Experience in healthcare technology, online pharmacy claims adjudication preferred • Ability to create, motivate, and inspire interdisciplinary teams • Ability to translate strategic plans into priorities and procedures • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills • Technical expertise in engineering, data and business analytics, and business intelligence • Experience with agile methodology, PowerShell, Python, AWS, GitLab, Visual Studio, .NET, C#, JSON, XML, VisualCron, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud-based database solutions such as Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS • Advanced SQL skills, including data modeling, DBO creation, management, OLAP principles, and indexing • Expertise diagnosing application and database issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions • Ability to architect, design, develop, and implement microservice and monolithic architecture solutions • Knowledge of non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark • Knowledge of pharmacy industry standards such as NCPDP, HL7, ANSI X12, and related drug database terminologies and classifications • Knowledge of Medicare Part D, PDE submissions and returns, pharmacy claims, and benefit management • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed • Must be available outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis to meet customer expectations • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
