📋 Description

• Lead and support multiple client engagements within the Life Insurance and Annuity domain • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and development teams to analyze requirements and design technical solutions • Participate in project planning, estimation, and solution architecture discussions • Conduct design reviews and recommend application architecture, data flow, and system integration approaches • Ensure adherence to project life cycle methodology, IT control policies, and corporate architecture standards • Prepare and maintain high-level and low-level technical design documents and specifications • Provide technical leadership to onshore and offshore development and support teams • Drive code quality through code reviews, best practices, and development standards • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and emerging technology adoption • Stay current with industry trends and developments related to Life Insurance and Annuity products • Leverage AI capabilities through GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and in-house models to improve operational efficiency and throughput

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or BS/BA/MBA/MS graduate; B.Tech or MCA accepted • 8–12 years in roles involving software coding, maintenance, support, and technical documentation • Minimum 8+ years in development, maintenance, and support projects involving Mainframe technologies, preferably COBOL, DB2/SQL, C#, and .NET • Minimum 6+ years working with SQL databases • Strong experience in Life Insurance, Annuity products, and Policy Administration Systems • Strong understanding of Policy Administration System architecture and design principles • Experience working directly with clients and managing technical delivery across distributed teams • Working knowledge of Git and version-control tools • Working knowledge of AI tools and features including Skills, custom Agents, custom instructions, MCP, and hooks • COBOL and C#; SQL; .NET Framework • Git, GitHub, or another Git repository • API design and integration • Technical design documentation • Coding and code reviews • Application architecture and solution design • Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in the Life Insurance and Annuity sector • Experience with automation initiatives and modern software development practices • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, team-management, and cross-functional team influence capabilities • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Professional Life Insurance certifications such as LOMA are highly desirable
