📋 Description

• Assist the Manager and Supervisor with all aspects of the Air Export Department • Ensure proper and timely movement of freight while providing exceptional customer service • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow • Prepare documents for international transportation • Coordinate and negotiate rates with contracted vendors to procure space and services • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing • Enter data accurately and timely into the operating system • Arrange customers' international export shipments • Maintain compliance with internal policies, Operational Process Standards, government regulations, and customer requirements • Review department process flow and identify efficiency improvements • Follow customer standard operating procedures according to the DLSOP • Work with the team to meet KPI standards • Monitor shipment reports to ensure customer satisfaction • Support overseas communications • Review Stat 1 and operational reports and update event codes • Audit files and help meet operating process standards • Build and maintain relationships with airlines, trucking companies, vendors, and customers • Evaluate vendors and implement corrective action plans where needed • Monitor accounts payable, billing, and accounting discrepancies • Assist with competitive pricing, new-business transitions, customer retention calls, and customer reviews • Develop and mentor team members and allocate workloads • Support new-hire training and ensure annual training standards are met • Communicate department goals and expectations • Promote productivity tools and implement system/process improvements • Promote the company's cultural attributes

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of industry specific qualification (country specific) • Good market and product knowledge • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results • Pro-active and strong organizational skills • Good computer skills, including Excel and Word • Hazardous Materials certification preferred • Fluent in English
