📋 Description

• Lead enterprise-wide response to high-risk cybersecurity incidents as Cyber Incident Commander • Validate and escalate incidents and direct cross-functional response efforts • Drive incident containment, eradication, recovery, and resolution • Deliver executive updates to senior leaders and stakeholders • Coordinate technical and business teams and support decision-making • Maintain accurate incident documentation • Conduct post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and lessons-learned activities • Improve response plans, playbooks, and operational processes • Lead tabletop exercises to validate response capabilities and identify gaps • Support Cyber Fusion Center operations and monitor emerging threats • Participate in the on-call rotation, including assigned nights, weekends, and holidays • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen Experian's security posture and cyber resilience

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security operations or information technology • 5+ years in information security incident handling or response • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • Experience leading or supporting investigations and responses to complex cybersecurity incidents, including APTs, ransomware, DDoS, insider threats, web/mobile application attacks, and data exfiltration • Knowledge of cyber incident response, digital investigation methodologies, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) • Knowledge of incident triage, impact assessment, containment, remediation, and recovery • Broad technical knowledge of enterprise and cloud environments • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, security controls, enterprise technologies, and detection and response platforms • Experience investigating complex incidents and performing root cause analysis • Ability to make risk-based decisions and communicate technical findings to all audiences • Leadership experience coordinating cross-functional incident response activities • Experience influencing stakeholders and managing multiple high-priority cybersecurity incidents • Demonstrated initiative to identify improvement opportunities and drive security enhancements • Ability to operate effectively while keeping leadership informed • Must be available for after-hours pages and assigned nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation • Industry certifications in cybersecurity, incident response, digital forensics, or ethical hacking preferred, such as GIAC, CISSP, SSCP, CISM, EC-Council, or Offensive Security
