📋 Description

• Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner • Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and prevent future incidents • Communicate with stakeholders throughout incident response • Create runbooks for common scenarios and prepare for automation • Review tooling and processes and automate wherever possible using SIEM integrations and workflows • Manage threat and vulnerability management • Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities • Own vulnerability reporting services and manage remediation metrics • Build relationships and influence remediation outcomes through reporting and risk management • Partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to foster a security-first culture • Lead multidisciplinary and multimedia security education and awareness campaigns • Stay current with developments in security operations and incident response • Work alongside the security team to run phishing campaigns, manage SIEM incidents, and contribute to purple team exercises with the internal red team

🎯 Requirements

• Good security fundamentals, including networking, authentication, operating systems, cloud, and encryption • Experience responding to incidents across end-user computing, public cloud server infrastructure, and containerized environments • Experience with scripting and automation • Experience with SIEM and EDR tools • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST • Expertise in incident response and vulnerability management • Interest in security operations automation
