📋 Description

• Review complex individual tax returns for Private Tax clients • Support clients during the seasonal tax period • Work on complex tax planning and compliance projects • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and colleagues • Collaborate with a virtual team and offshore shared services center • Prioritize and manage multiple complex projects • Contribute to client tax obligations and high-quality deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) or active state bar membership • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance for private client individuals in financial services • Experience performing high quality review of complex tax returns • Knowledge/experience in handling Individual, Gift, Trust, and Estate Tax Returns—1040, 1041, 706, 709 • Strategic prioritization when working on multiple complex projects • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills • Comfort working remotely in a virtual team environment, including with an offshore shared services center • Proven record of excellence in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid-tier firm preferred
