📋 Description

• Prospect, solicit, quote, and sell new personal, commercial, and agricultural insurance business • Identify and pursue opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation techniques • Develop and maintain relationships with existing personal, commercial, and agricultural insurance clients • Analyze client insurance needs and provide customized insurance solutions • Prepare and present insurance proposals and coverage comparisons, making professional recommendations • Stay current on industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction and maximize business opportunities • Meet or exceed sales and retention targets and goals

🎯 Requirements

• Would like at least 3 years of producer experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience • Proven track record of success in insurance sales and maintaining a book of business is highly desirable • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel • Experience with agency management systems, specifically Applied Epic, is highly desired, but training will be provided • Property & Casualty Insurance license required before the start date • Excess and Surplus License and/or Crop Insurance license is a plus • Must not require current or future work-authorization sponsorship
