📋 Description

• Assist attorneys in answering interrogatories • Interview clients and reduce answers to writing; review work with attorneys and prepare answers in final form • Obtain, review, and summarize medical records at the direction of trial attorneys • Coordinate expert review of medical records as necessary • Arrange medical examinations • Assist attorneys in preparing motions and research legal points • Assist attorneys in interviewing witnesses before and during trials as necessary • Assist attorneys in preparing documents and evidence for trial • Perform other assigned functions • Perform legal support work and research as permitted by the rules of the State Bar

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 2 year Associates Degree OR 3 years experience working as a Paralegal • Paralegal certificate or a degree in paralegal studies or the completion of at least one year of law school • One year experience working in a civil litigation law firm, preferred • Washington Discovery/Civil Litigation experience • Paralegal certificate from American Bar Association (ABA) approved program preferred • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift • Ability to occasionally move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance
